I purchased this Keurig B40 Elite Brewing System for a birthday gift for my mother to replace her previous single-cup brewer from Mr. Coffee. I like coffee. I've tried Senseo and the Melitta single serve machines and they just don't make good enough coffee. I've tried espresso machines using pods and with ground coffee.

I'm not comparing espresso and regular coffee, I'm comparing convenience. On most days I endured a cup of instant coffee at home followed by the "not so great but free" coffee at work. It seems that's a flaw with almost all drip coffee machines. I can take a cup before it's done brewing and it does not drip. We had a re-usable gold basket filter for our previous coffeemaker, and it is compatible with this machine.

"What I like best about this Bonavita BV1800TH 8-Cup Coffee Maker is its overall simplicity and the design emphasis that was placed on brewing good coffee but not on loading the device with gadgets and non-essential features. I don't need a replaceable filter for the water. I don't need a built in coffee grinder.

The brew speed is fast, about 5 minutes for an 8-cup pot. I tested the temperature of the water at the brew head and it was 200 degrees. The thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot for about 3 hours. This is without a doubt the best coffeemaker that I've ever owned. BUNN BT Velocity Brew 10-Cup has been about 5 months now, and I could not be more pleased. We make 4-5 pots of coffee per day five days a week. The last pot is brewed about noon and the left over coffee is still luke warm the next morning. The units last about 2 years so they are good for over 2,000 pots of coffee (less than 10 cents per pot). It makes a great pot of coffee.

Extensive research and $600 off the sticker price led me to the Jura-Capresso 13548 Impressa J6. I've now had the machine for two years and it is still going strong, and bought it at my local Sur le Table store. I purchase this Gaggia 1003380 Accademia Espresso Machine unit a couple of months ago after reading a number of reviews and watching u-Tube videos, etc. I will admit that it took a bit of motivation for me to spend 2K on an espresso machine. But this thing has entered my home and changed the way I enjoy morning coffee. I use to have coffee in the morning, now enjoy a cappuccino and my wife has her favor as well.

This is my 8th machine and by far my favorite. Having owned one Capresso C1500, three Jura-Capressos, one Saeco and now the Gaggia Academia, I've found this machine to outperform the rest by far. I loved the quality of the Capresso and Jura-Capresso machines, but having to send them in once a year for service at a cost of over $300 was excessive.

I love this Jura Impressa J9 One Touch TFT Coffee Machine. I also have a krupps super automatic as well and I prefer this one. The Impressa J9 is Jura's current top-of-the-line model and, at first glance, it looks the part. Gleaming silver body and chrome buttons and accents plus a color LCD screen make a positive first impression.

One complaint though is that the spout height is slightly low and so I cannot fit certain mugs in there. Not a deal breaker but it is an inconvenience. The thing I like about the jura is the ability to bypass the whole bean grinder and use preground coffee. Since with any super automatic, you need to be very careful about the oiliness of the bean, this is a great feature when you still want flavored coffee.

This Jura 13423 Impressa S9 One Touch Automatic Coffee-and-Espresso machine is beautifully engineered. The designers have thought of everything. It's very expensive but it's obvious as to why. The machine has many adjustments and the default factory settings may not get you what you expect. The machine warms up quickly and can be programmed to come on automatically, so it will be ready when you walk into the kitchen.

The best part is that it makes the best coffee available in the home...or anywhere else for that matter. I am really pleased that a video is included along with extensive written directions. Admittedly when I took it out of the box it was pretty intimidating. It took about a week before I was comfortable with all the features.

Only one month in operation - makes an excellent cup of coffee. I've cut way back on trips to Starbucks with this machine. KRUPS EA8255001 Espresseria Full Automatic Espresso Machine is easy to use and the coffee is fabulous every time. I wouldn't recommend if you like flavored beans, but if you purchase unflavored I would go for it.

I like the fact that the water tank has a filter, and the machine tells you when to replenish the water, clean, etc. Also, the volume of the 4 choices for coffee is adjustable, so by day 3 I had no problem producing some awesome cappuccinos in no time.

KRUPS EA8255001 Espresseria Full Automatic Espresso Machine is also easy to clean the milk frothing piece by running the steam for a few seconds. The machine remembers the last volume choice for the chosen coffee, and finally I figured out the volumes for milk as well.

"I bought this Cuisinart for our office so we were able to make coffee and oatmeal with the hot water. I like the coffee side, but on the hot water side, BE CAREFUL! I was burned by the steam that comes out of the lever you hold down to get the hot water to come out. Also, the hot water leaks out of the back where the screw hole is. What a mess. When I use the hot water, it doesn't come out like a pour, it sprays hot water all over."

Do you drink alot of coffee? If yes then dont get this. Get the six-cup Black & Decker DCM18S coffee maker. This is for people who drinks 1-2-3 cups a DAY. If you drink more than that it might frustrate you to constantly fill the compartment every now and then. But if you're patient enough to wait for less than a minute, then get it.

This is an excellent one cup coffee maker. It takes a little experimenting to determine how much coffee to use for desired strength. I use one a 1/8 heaping coffee scoop. The travel cup actually does fit into my vans cup holder.  Get special price of Black & Decker DCM18S Personal Coffeemaker.
