Get Keurig B40 Elite Brewing Coffee

I purchased this Keurig B40 Elite Brewing System for a birthday gift for my mother to replace her previous single-cup brewer from Mr. Coffee. I like coffee. I've tried Senseo and the Melitta single serve machines and they just don't make good enough coffee. I've tried espresso machines using pods and with ground coffee.

The Elite Brewing System brews a perfect cup of coffee, tea, hot cocoa or iced beverage. Save on the Keurig B40
I'm not comparing espresso and regular coffee, I'm comparing convenience. On most days I endured a cup of instant coffee at home followed by the "not so great but free" coffee at work. I always thought the single cup coffee makers were just a money making gimmick until the day I sampled a cup of coffee from this machine. The Keurig B-40 makes an excellent cup of coffee very quickly everyone can have the type of coffee of their choosing.
  • 1500-watt single-serve brewing system for gourmet coffee or tea
  • Uses patented K-Cups; no messy grinding or clean up
  • Removable 48-ounce water reservoir; removable drip tray
  • 2 brew-size options; 2-hour automatic shut-off; descale indicator
  • Brewer requires 4 minutes of priming before being ready to use.
With this machine, my mother, who only drinks decaf, can enjoy a cup of decaf coffee while I have the Nantucket blend and my son drinks Hazelnut. I have joined Keurig's coffee club and get nice discounts on the prepackaged K-cups. To make a cup of coffee with the K-cups, simply raise the handle and set the K-cup in the holder. Press the brew button and out comes hot, fresh coffee. I've also just placed a tea bag in the filter and brewed a quick cup that way.

Yes, the machine makes noise. It's pumping pressurized hot water into the K-Cups. This machine also vibrates. You shouldn't be shelling out this much money for a coffee machine if you expect a Mr. Coffee coffee maker. You are buying a "gourmet" coffee machine, and it has some cool features that require hot pressurized water to be pumped through the machine.

The coffee it produces is quite good. After brewing, just toss the K-Cup, that's it. As a former coffee house Assistant Manager and an avid fan of "gourmet" coffee, I highly recommend this Keurig B40 Elite coffee machine.

This machine brews a nice, bold, rich cup of coffee. Slightly less bold and rich if you brew the regular pods on the larger cup setting; but still very drinkable. No filters to deal with, no messy coffee grounds, no dirty coffee pots to wash (and filter baskets).

Overall, I love this Keurig B40 Elite Brewing System machine. My Mr. Coffee has been banished to a dark corner while I enjoy perfect cup after perfect cup of delicious coffee.
